RoomieOps is a platform that helps roommates manage shared expenses, chores, house agreements, and payment records. By using RoomieOps you agree to these terms.

2. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. One person, one account — sharing credentials is not allowed.

3. What you can do

You can use RoomieOps to manage your shared living situation: track expenses, split rent, schedule chores, write house agreements, and upload payment proof. That's what it's built for.

4. What you can't do

You may not use RoomieOps to do anything illegal, harass other users, upload malicious content, or try to compromise the security of the platform. We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these terms.

5. Your data

You own the data you enter. We don't sell it. We use it only to provide the service. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us at contact@roomieops.com.

6. Uptime and changes

We aim to keep RoomieOps running but can't guarantee 100% uptime. We may change or discontinue features with reasonable notice. We may update these terms — when we do, we'll update the date above.

7. Liability

RoomieOps is provided as-is. We are not liable for any financial disputes between roommates, data loss, or indirect damages arising from use of the platform.

What we collect

We collect the information you provide when signing up (name, email, password) and the data you enter while using the app (expenses, tasks, agreements, uploaded files). We also collect basic usage analytics (page views, feature usage) to improve the product.

How we use it

We use your data to run the service and, occasionally, to send you product updates. We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use it for advertising.

Who sees it

Your housemates can see the data shared within your home (expenses, tasks, agreements). Your personal account details are only visible to you. Our team may access data when necessary to provide support or investigate security issues.

Cookies

We use a session cookie to keep you logged in, and Google Analytics to understand how people use the site. You can opt out of analytics using standard browser settings or a content blocker.

Data storage

Data is stored on Supabase (hosted on AWS). We take reasonable security precautions but no system is perfectly secure. Report any suspected vulnerabilities to contact@roomieops.com.

Your rights

You can request a copy of your data or ask us to delete it at any time. Email contact@roomieops.com and we'll respond within 30 days.
